MPCB launched its international debit card since June 2005. The Kwik-Cash card allows cash withdrawals on ATMs worldwide and electronic payments on purchases at most merchants in Mauritius and abroad. This convenient way to have available cash or service 24/7/365 is free of charge to all our customers on first issue.
 
Kwik-Cash Features
   
The International Maestro Card:
Allows you to withdraw on more than 1 million ATMs around the world displaying 'CIRRUS' logo.
Can be used on more than 30 million Point of Sales around the world, i.e. it allows you to pay your bills in supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, groceries, etc. displaying 'MAESTRO' logo.
   
On MPCB ATMs, the following features are allowed:
Withdrawals of up to Rs 20,000 daily
Fast Cash of Rs 500
Balance Inquiry
Mini-Statement of last 10 transactions
PIN Change
Inter account Transfers
Exchange Rate of 6 major currencies
Deposit by cheque or by cash
Statement Request up to 180 days
Cheque Book Request
Fun-d- Fone - Mobile Phone Recharge for both Cellplus and Emtel subscribers

Some basic hints
First point to remember: Save our 24-hr HOTLINE 207 9900 on your mobile phone to be able to contact us whenever necessary.
Memorise your PIN, then destroy the PIN Mailer – do not keep a written record of the PIN together with the card.
When using ATMs/POS, ensure no one from the back sees your PIN code you are typing.
Change your PIN on any MPCB ATMs if you suspect that the PIN has been compromised.
Should your card be lost or stolen, report immediately on 207 9900 so that the card is stopped, to avoid unauthorised withdrawal on it.
If you have travelled abroad and you suspect the card has been compromised, please contact your MPCB branch immediately to ask for replacement of the Card.
